The four and a half hour flight really sucks but you get to see some interesting topography from the air.

We explored the observatory, downtown LA, Santa Monica and Venice beach.
And as you will probably be able to tell, my favorite part of the trip was shooting action at the legendary Venice Skatepark. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater anyone?
Now if I can only find some more action sports to shoot. (Snowboarding)
